The Donut Man (Los Angeles, CA)

The Donut Man is located on Route 66 and is known around the country for its fresh strawberry donuts. But you won't find these tasty treats year round, they are so committed to quality that you will only find them when fresh strawberries are in season.

Gourdough's (Austin, Tx)

Whether you sit down at one of their two public house locations or grab a bite to go at their food truck, Gourdough's will not disappoint. Not only have they perfected doughnut sandwiches and burgers, but they even offer doughnut salads and entrees! Try the Ron Burgandy and keep it classy, Austin.

Rhino Doughnuts & Coffee (Boca Raton, Fl)

Boca Raton's Mizner Park is home to some of the poshest storefronts in South Florida and Rhino Doughnuts & coffee fits right in. Their doughnuts are chef-crafted and discerning foodies will be hard pressed to find a higher quality presentation. Try the Guava & Cream Cheese for a taste of Florida.

Voodoo Doughnut (Portland, Or)

Looking for a doughnut on the darker side? Try Voodoo Doughnut, where the secret ingredient is a little voodoo magic. Breakfast enthusiasts will want to line up for one of their many cereal themed donuts adorned with everything from Coco-Puffs and Fruit Loops to Captain Crunch.

Dominique Ansel Bakery (New York, Ny)

While it's certainly more than a simple doughnut shop, Dominique Ansel has earned a spot on this list simply for popularizing the Cronut. Part croissant, part doughnut, 100% amazing. And if your friends aren't doughnut fans, Ansel's has pastries, meringues and even a new ice cream shop!

We didn't have time to travel the world trying each of the doughnuts, but we were able to visit Rhino's this morning. Let's just say we're still stuffed!
