Being from Florida and a mere couple miles from the coast, we feel we know our beaches like we know our vapes. We've spent plenty of time wandering from beach to beach, coast to coast, always searching for the best spots, and we've come up with a few of our favorites here.


Whether you're looking to party until the sun comes up, or you're needing total relaxation, we've got your top 8 best beaches here!

Sanibel Island, Florida

This little island is a hidden gem and perfect for ultimate relaxation! Sanibel is known for its shelling beaches, kayaking, paddle boarding, and wildlife refuges that make up more than half the island. While you're swimming around in the clear gulf water, don't be surprised if you're greeted by some friendly manatees!

La Jolla Cove, California

One of the greatest spots for swimming, snorkeling, diving, kayaking, you name it. You'll find seals, colorful fish and maybe even some sharks... if you're not too scared to jump in the water!

South Beach, Miami, FL

If you like to party and enjoy nightlife, Miami beaches are where you want to be! Great food and places to hang out right on the beach with a beautiful scenery. This may not be your best option if you don't enjoy huge crowds of people!

Cannon Beach, Oregon

Cannon Beach is home to the popular landmark, Haystack Rock. This rock is 235 ft tall and protected by the Oregon Islands National Wildlife Refuge. You'll find nesting puffins here, as well as many other seabirds, colorful seastars, crabs and other invertebrates.

Ocean City, Maryland

Named America's best boardwalk by the Travel Channel and the nation's best boardwalk for food by USA Today, Ocean City is fun for your whole family or an unforgettable trip with friends. This boardwalk has it all; rides, arcade games, shopping, and so much food to choose from. At night, the beach is filled with fun activities to join in on. Make sure you grab a crab cake while you're there, lucky!

Santa Monica, California

Probably one of the more popular beaches that draws in crowds from all over the world, you'll enjoy breathtaking mountain views along side the sandy beach in Santa Monica. Hope you're ready to jump in the water because the surfing is great there! Visit the Santa Monica Pier (which is always open) for delicious food, live music, and the Santa Monica Pier Aquarium! Kapalua Beach, Maui, Hawaii

Maui is named one of the best islands in the world by multiple travel magazines, and the calm waters of the bay make perfect conditions for snorkeling, especially for beginners. You'll see colorful parrot fish, crustaceans, wrasse, scorpion fish, tang, surgeon and damsel fish, and more!

Pine Knolls Shores, North Carolina

This secluded beach area is perfect for someone trying to get away from big crowds.  Pine Knolls Shores is home to the North Carolina Aquarium, and there is also an array of activities to get involved with such as paddle boarding, canoeing, kayaking, catching clams and crabs, marsh explorations and more!
